How does citizenships.legal work?
You choose a program, start your case, and sign the engagement documents. We assign a licensed partner lawyer and break the work into milestones. You pay for each milestone before it begins, upload the documents we ask for, and follow progress on your case timeline.
What does it cost?
A monthly platform subscription covers managing your case, and each milestone has its own price shown before it starts. Every program page lists its fees. There are no hidden charges and you can cancel the subscription at any time.
Can I get a refund?
Work that has not started can be refunded. Once a milestone has begun, our lawyer's time and any government fees already paid cannot be returned. If something goes wrong on our side, contact support and we will look at it case by case.
How long does an application take?
It depends entirely on the program and the government processing it. Each program page shows indicative timelines, and your case timeline shows expected durations per step. We will never promise a date a government has not committed to.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Documents are held in private storage, links expire within minutes, and only you, your assigned lawyer and the team members working on your case can open them. See our Ethics & data safety page for the detail.
Are you a law firm?
No. citizenships.legal is a facilitation platform. We manage the journey; the legal work and the government filing are carried out by licensed partner lawyers engaged for your case.
